Hi All

I have just purchased this watch privately, was told it was a great buy, but now me thinks I may have rushed into it, as I cannot find any info at all anywhere on the web pages. I just wanted a nice dive watch to do the basics, just depth, dive time, temp etc, but cannot afford a top of the range watch.
I paid equivalent of about $400 for this watch. have i been ripped off ??

PS, couldnt find any reference to it, so took a pic 5 minutes ago and figured someone at DB would be able to tell me if I have a lemon, or a good buy!! :)

Not exactly the best forum for freediving equipment. :)

Try searching the casio site using the model name/number (you didn't specify here). Try searching in db as well as it's not the first casio watch being mentioned in these forums.

As for the price, are those 400$ US? I guess it depends on how much those watches are on the market, but I'd say it wasn't a good buy (sorry to be the one to bring you down). I'd say that as D3's are cheaper, mosquitos as well maybe.

As for it being a lemon, at the end of the day, it all depends if it gets the job done.

Hi michael

I tried the Casio site, but cannot find the model ! I'm not sure what the name is, only had the model number, and it does'nt come up ?? pretty wierd. I was hoping someone may own one and recognise the pic.

Cheers

Jeff

hey bluecape, i have a casio sea-pathfinder that has a depth, bathy and compass sensor. also does a dive timer and bottom temperature. nice for spearing and freediving, but not a true dive watch. i paid US$255 new. check if yours say pathfinder anywhere, as it looks like the old pathfinder range.

Yes ,you have paid through the nose

I have Casio spf70 ,excellent for spearfishing and in a good price, abt 250 Euro.
