New fishing trip at a well known fishing spot of west Mani!
A school of large Dentex suddenly swims away, scared by the intense sound of engines,
followed by a moment of terror, when the coastguard motorboat passed almost over me!!!
Lucky for us...lobsters and slipper lobsters where out in the shallows and the lobster/slipper lobster pasta was just epic!!!

Did you use a visible float with the appropriate* "diver down"-flag?

* Red with white diagonal in USA but blue & white "alpha" flag in most of the rest of the world.

Hi

To avoid confusion, please say spiny lobster or rock lobster, but not lobster…even though a lot of people use the wrong name.
Lobster and spiny lobster are two different crustaceans

I'm not confused. I saw them in the video. But even if I hadn't seem them, I would have known they were spiny lobster because he was diving in the Med. It's the same in California. We say how many lobster we caught, or when the lobster season begins, or what the take limit for lobster is and we don't bother to say "spiny" because we know that the lobsters with claws don't exist in California. And it was the same when I lived Hawaii and Okinawa.
