OK guys, my tube seems to be letting in water. sounds nasty.

How do I remove the muzzle and butt? There is what looks like a plastic cross pin, do I just drive this out?

Help please before I break stuff and swear at my children for being "in my light"..

Thanks

Yes just push those pins out and the ends will just pull out, they may be a little tight, there is an "O" ring seal on them but they will come.

yes just take the pins out, check the orings, its probably them...or one of them..i hsave the same gun in 90..its a good gun, i didnt have his problem, had it with a cressi and it was the o ring

I would fill the barrel with foam, either spray in polyurethane foam or force in polystyrene.
You can do this by pushing the barrel repeatedly through a polystyrene block until the barrel is full.

great ideas guys, like the foam tip foxy. would that make it more or less buoyant? about the same I imagine as the volume has not been increased?

remove the muzzle and try to understand where and why it leaks (it's probably a gasket problem).
First check what the damage is about, second let's discuss how to fix it.
We're all here to help.
