There have been central coast threads in the past, but they are all old.

I am a new spearfisherman hunting the central coast. Hopefully I can update the community on conditions as I explore the coastline. I do not have a large pool of fellow spearos to call on for hunts, so if you would like to get out there, hit me up!

I live in Atascadero with my wife and one year old daughter, and work in agriculture. I learned to spearfish in Cape Verde while I lived there, and recently equipped myself with all the proper gear for cold water hunting.

Welcome Steve. This is a very international site so you might want to be more specific. I know that Atascadero is in California, but people from the East Coast of the US and all the other countries represented here probably don't know that.
