Hello, all!

I'm on a rather low budget (I'm trying to save as much of that as I can for SCUBA diving), and am looking for the cheapest depth gauge.

So far I've only managed to find the Pyle Snorkeling Master watch at $90...

Are there any closer to around $50 or less? I'm just starting out freediving and would like to see how deep I'm going... Where I've been diving there is usually a bit of current, so the dive float I managed to put together sometimes drags the weight (bent up rim) around, so haven't been taking it out lately is also a pain to haul around).

Hmm... am unable to edit my post. Strange.

Anyway, what I was wanting to add, is that pretty much all I need is the depth feature. One with max depth, timer, and other features would be nice, but not absolutely necessary if it bumps the price up much.

You might try an old fashioned bourdon tube wrist gauge. A few dive shops still carry them. Simple bubble that moves around the outer edge of the gauge.
