I've been trying to figure it out...how do you check to see who gave you rep points? I read in another post its in the user CP, but I can't seem to find it :duh

Hi, if you are looged in then you go to "User CP" (its in the blue bar at the top pf the screen - left side). Right on the first page of the "User Control Panel" on the bottom of the screen you find a list of your rep. points.

HTH,

Veronika

Only lists the last 5. Often wondered if you can see the full history anywhere? Personally I use the User CP as my log in page for DB. My brother put me on to this. Much easier than using the main page or forums. Just go to the user cp and save it in your favoutites then use it to log on :) .

Either I must be on another planet or my user profile is different...All that is on the bottom of the first page of my user cp is "all times are now GMT -10" and "powered by VBulletin etc." Does the rep listing disappear after some time?:head

I think you did not receive any reputation yet. The reputation shown at the top of the post (2 right now at your profile) is a combination of reputation received (one point for each 100 rep points), number of posts (1 point for each 200 posts), and the number of years you are subscribed (1 year in your case). Everyone has one point at the start - the second one you have is for the year you are subscribed here. I am sending you some reputation, so that you are not such a poor guy :)

Read Veronika's post again. The User CP is at the TOP, extreme left, repeat the TOP, not at the bottom. Cheers.

BTW, Demasoni, I hear in TV this morning that there was a shark attack in Maui. The victim was in the hospital. Have you heard anything? How did it happen?

I've sent you some rep too. Let us know if you've recieved it. :) .
Oh, guys, do not exagerate, or he beats Sara (Island_Sands) soon! :D

No one beats island sands as I have personally given her all her rep along with little notes that say "I love you" :inlove :inlove :inlove :inlove :inlove .

Dave:) :)

Hey, dema, I gave you some rep for a good technical tip you gave. Check it, if it's not in the panel there must be something that doesn't work.

PS-Island Sands rocks.:inlove

Oh there they are! Thanks for the reps guys...:)

Regarding the shark attack, in the last week I have heard of additional sightings of big tigers (14ft) very close to beaches off tourist resort areas. I wonder if the sudden surge of sightings has anything to do with the start of the annual migration of humback whales from Alaska, the first solitary whale has already been sighted!

Here's a link to the shark attack story: It bit a Canadian!

Sorry Canadians, didn't mean anything by that comment - I said it because I'm part Canadian...:)

Note that you said, tourist resort areas. Sharks like nothing more than tourist meat. Lots of stupid people running around in the ocean heedless of whats going on around them. Shark attack heaven and open waters for us folk who know the safer spots and the areas ;)

If you want an exciting Hawaiian shark story, try this one from my friend Willie Mahin. He saw a great white while diving with me here last summer, so I'm beginning to wonder if I should dive with him anymore.
