I've just seen a thread on the French Esprit Apnée forum where an owner of the Chinese Chen Bin monofin prizes it highly over Glide, Hypper, Breier, and WaterWay monofins that he also tried. I did not hear about that fin before, but according to the Chen Bin website, it seems to be rather popular among monofin swimmers, and several records were broken with it. I wonder if anyone here on DB has an experience with it.

Guillaume Nery used has one and used it on his recent world record. Will Winram tried this same fin at the Worlds in Egypt and loved it. He used it for his 174m dynamic.

I heard from some guys that the fin itself is great, however the footpockets aren't that good. I took this to mean that they didn't fit the foot like the andronov/russian style footpockets.

Still, mostly positive i'd say, definitely worth a look.

Cheers,
Ben
