China Bans Shark Fin Soup at State Functions

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
hmmmm, this might make the dish even more special & prestigous, so the price could go up a bit more, making the finning yet more lucrative ...

yes it might make the price per fin or what ever increase and make the bad guys more money but bottom line is if less of it is eaten due to bans in certain places then thats less sharks dying.
 
Well I think it's a (small) positive move. Come on guys, if they serve shark fin soup we complain, we can't also complain when they listen and stop serving it :/)
