Hello,

I've just been offered a watch, it's a Casio SeaPathFinder-60. I can exchange it in the same shop by adding money, and buy a Suunto D3.

I don't know any of this products.

My way of diving is essentially constant weigh (newbie...) , snorkelling and fishing +- 15 meters (newbie too...), and I practice often, and all day long when I can.

Can you help me to make a good choice?

Thanks

Choose the watch which provides the important info you need. The D3 is the freedivers choice because it gives you surface time between dives. The Casio might not. Alternatively choose a watch you can wear when not in the water. Citizen have the best range.
Haydn Welch Jewellers 01823 354049 for more info.

The shop doesn't sell citizen, so I will change for Suunto D3.

Thanks a lot for your fast reply.

I own both...

I first bought a Casio MRS 300 which :

1. has a depthmeter (stores up to 10 dives)

2. is quite good-looking

3. is quite cheap...

Then I bought the D3 : you can't do without it once you freedive regularly ; it is much more expensive than the Casio, and is not as good-looking, but it gives you much more useful information on your dives...

If I were in your shoes, I would definitely buy the D3...
