Help me choose a wetsuit for all the following disciplines DYN, STA and CWT

1. Nylon elastic inside
2. Open cell inside
3. Gold coating inside

It is hardly possible to have a suit for all needs. Also we don't know anything about your outdoor conditions.

But if I had to choose one suit for all disciplines, I would probably go for a 3mm hooded, 2 pieces model from elios with either open cell or nylon lining inside - depending on how cold your outdoor conditions are.

3mm is perfect for our water, could you till me the difference between the three please?

Thanks for your advice

open cell is very flexible and warmer than inner lining.
nylon lining is more durable and easier to put on (not my opinion though).
I haven't had gold coating so far.

Suits with an inner coating "gold", "titanium", "silver" may be marketed as being easier to put on compared to open cell and may be marketed as being warmer or may reflect back heat. I have 2 suits with a coating BioThermic and titanium and have nothing to compare it with. Also there may be no precious metal used in the coatings. The "GOLD" may only be a name or color.

open cell inside sort of looks like rough, densely bubbled rubber. You can't rub your dry skin across it without it binding. It needs lube to put on, but then really seals to your skin, keeping you warm. slick inner (gold/titanium etc - just marketing) is smoothly finished neoprene. It is easier to put on (but you still need lube) and not as warm. It may last a little longer than an open cell as the rubbery surface is more finished and probably tougher.

The nylon on the inside will keep the suit together, especially it is it thinner (like 3mm) and more especially if you are not used to putting one on. It will be colder though than the two above.
