Choosing the right speargun

Hi guys you've probably read this a thousand times before I live in Plymouth uk and the water can be very murky . as a beginner what size gun would be best i will be doing shallow dives to start off with been looking at a Cressi Geronimo 90 is this going to be to big ?

Get a 75cm, that is a great length for clear or murky water.

Ditto, for murky water 75cm. I use a 90cm in Cornwall sometimes but even there, I usually take the 75cm in by default and only take the 90 out if conditions are better than normal. I normally use my 75cm in S. Devon.

Beginners sometimes wrongly assume you are getting a lesser speargun with a 75cm. In my experience in murky waters, you'll get more fish with a smaller speargun. You might want to get a longer gun as well later, it you start encountering clear water regularly (e.g. 90/95/100) but you'll still want the shorter gun for the murky days, which are far more common in most areas of UK.
