I thought it would be nice if there were some pictures showing how the diverse members of DB enjoy the festive season.

This thread is really meant to be active after the event but I thought it might be nice to start now and show the run up, but also to give people some advance warning if they want to contribute.

I for one would be interested to see diving and non diving related pic's. How about some snowy shots from you members in Canada and northern USA. Some impressive "lit up" houses. Palm trees with Xmas lights from our southern desert dwellers? Don't forget kids (actual or childish adults) opening their pressies on the big day.

So who's diving on Christmas day. Well hopefully me for one. Even if your not brave enough to face the families anger by disappearing off on the actual day then diving over the festive period will do - wimps.

You get the idea?

To start off I'll cheat (I'm allowed as it's my thread) here's a pic of my 5 week old grandson last Christmas day.

Get clicking,

Dave

Awfully concentrated expression for a 5 week old. Was someone either holding a bottle or unbuttoning a blouse while the camera was out? :D

Won't be diving Christmas but I might come up with some pictures of my unpacking a powersaw . . . Could be a dive the day after, though.

My kids are really getting into the whole Christmas thing this year- even though the 50F degree weather left no snow on the ground.

My son was sure that his Elmo should go on the tree along with the rest of the decorations.:)

We will be having our annual New Year's day dive, and carp shoot, for anyone in the Wisconsin area who's interested.

Pressies are building up under the tree. It's got colder of late which makes it more seasonable.

Went diving Christmas day but no pic's I'm afraid as time was pressing. However managed a few other sorts of pic's to show the spirit of the season.

Granson Finlay got a trike and grandad "Old Man Dave" got a DeeperBlue shirt and a DB car sticker from young brother Foxfish (thanks Mart) plus older brother (thanks Der) designed and had made an Old Man Dave plus bass tee shirt.

Boxing day saw the family on the local beach blowing away the cobwebs.

I had a good one hope you all had same.

Loving the old dave t-shirt!
I had a cracker with all the family and featuring my daughters first ever christmas (we now have to relocate to house all of her presents)
I'll try and fix up some photos at a later date.
Plus,i got bought a book of the 'coast' series and i have a newly instilled need to fish in Guernsey,it looks beautiful.

Peace....Daf.

Was nice and hot in my part of the world. Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to kill anything, but we had a lunch of abalone from Xmas Eve and rock lobster for dinner.

Has been some of the best diving weather that this coast has seen in a long time over the last few days. Thanks Santa! Picked up my PB rock lobster today (27th Dec) and a nice dhu fish, and a smaller dhu and my first nyanagai yesterday.

I hope everyone has a great New Year.

Christmas day and I don’t care how much it cost as you can’t buy a face like this.
My little boy on the great morning.:)

Sorry bit big that’s the second time I’ve done that. :head
View the picture while not logged on and it comes out at a better size.

Priceless moments, Podge.
What's your boy so pleased about? (being your boy, must be something that shoots. My daughter enjoyed her dolls, just like daddy used to, he he he).

It’s a lighting McQueen remote control car from the film Disney Pixar Cars.
He’s been mad about it ever since the movie was released, and now he has his own and I’m almost as happy as he is!:)
As for the gun thing he’s only six and I’ve had to promise him a .410 shotgun for his 8th birthday, and I’ve got to say I can’t wait as he’s already a fair shot with his small BB gun.

As the Mastercard (credit card) commercial in the U.S. goes, your little boy's face in that photo is priceless. For everything else, there's Mastercard.

Adorable. Look at that red hair! Hats off to you, JimDoe2You, Jon, Wes, Spaghetti and all the other DB parents.
