Hiya, do any of you guys know if i can convert my Gabbiano 90 from an open muzzle to a closed muzzle? I find open muzzles more hassle than there worth.

yes you can. There is a closed version of the muzzle available in stores. Ask dave at Spearguns by Spearo uk ltd finest supplier of speargun, monofins, speargun and freediving equipment (english dealer for seatec products), or, if dave doesn't have them in stock at the moment, ask me and I'll direct you to a good online store in Italy.
Personally I prefer the open muzzle though. Keeps the shaft in place and the sighting/aiming is much improved. Yes it's a hassle to loop the line around the open muzzle, but just get used to it and won't get back. Figure that I've been using closed muzzles for 20 years, but now I'm buying only open guns, and cutting the muzzles of my older guns to turn them into open....
