Hi freediving community,
I ran a search on this forum about CMAS and freedivnig. I found only two related threads, but found out that not many poeple joined the disccusion.
CMAS approved dinamics an the "JB" as official freediving disciplines.
What is wrong with statics?
Why try to stop freediving development?
Why is CMAS "the" official international assotiation and AIDA is not?
Why the Olimpic Comitee could not aprove what AIDA is doing?
Did AIDA ever talked to the people at CMAS or the OC?
What is this community thinking of CMAS as a freediving assotiation?
What is look like the CMAS freediving course? Are they teaching freedivers how to perform dynamics at 15m, which could results in an incresed rate of FD accidents and make freediving a very dangerous sport in the eyes of ordinary people.
Freediving is as dangerous as you let it be.
Please join the discussion and try to make a good point and start a constructive discussion.
I hope there are CMAS freedivers among us and that CMAS executives could read what this comunnity has to say.
Regards,
Erik Stojanovic, SAPA apnea team - Slovenija
