CO2 and O2 tables - exhale/inhale question from beginner

Good morning. I have seen lots of information on the internet about CO2 and O2 tables but none of it makes it clear whether one holds one's breath after the inhale or the exhale. My guess is that it is after the inhale for CO2 tables and after the exhale for O2 tables. Any advice would be gratefully received.

Hi, Epiconnor, basicaly both tables are meant to hold your breath after inhale, but there are many possible variations. Pavel
