I can't see anything on the site about anyone shooting any cod in the UK/Ireland.

What is the score with this? Is is because they are mostly deep water?

Thanks Dave

I have only ever seen one in the water, a rock cod almost 2lb. My mate hasn't seen any in ten years over here. Was just wondering.

Steve

If you get a good viz day during the winter would the cod still come in , or is it partly due to the murky choppy water that they are there?

The water is definitely colder this year where I live and this coincides with us catching cod from our rowing boat for the first time ever. That is about all I can say but it would sure be nice to see more:)

ive had a 5lb cod a bout 10 years ago in aug and i stood up and put it on my fish keep
