Coffee/Performance

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Does anyone have any thoughts regarding the effect coffee has on performance?
This is only what I notice personally, but whenever I drink coffee or any other high caffeinated drink, I notice the effects in my training for two to three days after I drank it. It affects my training negatively. Contractions come sooner, it is harder to relax, harder to empty my mind. So I quit with the evil stuff when I'm training and only take it again after I had a competition. It's extra sweet and effective when you haven't had any black gold for a month or two.

Try looking at these past threads, there is a lot of information there:

There is some info also here: http://forums.deeperblue.com/specialist-advanced/78874-apnea-nutrition.html and in many other threads here on DB

PS: it is always a good idea to use the Search function before creating a new thread. And creating it then, only if nothing matching found, or posting your question in one of the existing threads.
