Colorado scuba diving

How's it going out there. I just got my basic and advanced open water cert in japan. I am going on leave in Jan. and am wondering if there is anywhere to dive in Colorado in Jan.

Only if you are into SERIOUS ice diving (like 18+" thick ice). I'm a CO native and in January, it is colder than a well-diggers rear in the Arctic. The only "good" lakes that have some depth are in the mountains and are hard to access in the winter. In addition, since most are also reseviors for drinking water, there are significant limitations to diving. I don't really know of any lakes in the plains that would be worth the effort.....
