Well, I have been at a competition and off-line the last three days, so am not sure if it was announced by AIDA international already, but the French federations FFESSM and AIDA speak about it since a few days relatively openly - apparently the coming WC in Aarhus, Denmark will be common for both AIDA and CMAS.

The competition I participated at, this weekend in Marseille, was also done under both colors, and it caused absolutely no problems. Very nice competition indeed, and well organized despite being cancelled first because of no access to the planned pool. A replacement was found only lately,so it was all organized quickly, but seamlessly.

So from this point of view, I am sure the common AIDA+CMAS WC may be a big success too. I just wonder if the facility can host so many athletes in the same time.

Nice. I assume it's because the CMAS Games in Tunisia were canned this year.

The competitions will be two completely separate events. Just in the same place and in the same pool, something like Lignano last year. And CMAS will have just dynamic fot this world championship, and I do not expect more then 40 atleats in CMAS for that discipline. And yes the reason is canceled CMAS games first in Tunisia and later in Malaga...
