Competition dates

just one quick question everyone, is there an index somewhere or website that lists all the free diving competitions. i know the world champ is next Nov 1st-12th, sadly due to work commitments i wont be able to make it (unless i get fired or there is peace throughout Baghdad...). so i would like to know if there are any others i can train for and enter as a novice?

anywayz... have you been based in Dubai Mat? How's the freediving there? are you looking for freediving comp's this winter and in Europe?

not had a chance to crack any free diving in Dubai yet, but we will in about 7 weeks so i will keep you posted. the only problem with the water in Dubai, is that due to the dredging for the Palms and World projects, the visability is really bad. so you have to take a drive out of the city and further east or west along the coast.

yep.. the dredging has ruined Dubai and it will never be the same.... 4 stupid man made islands in the sea,.. and all that empty surrounding desert :duh
