hi , i am confused between 2 Foot Pockets witch they are :

the
H Dessault ,
and the pathos , i need too know information about these 2 foot pockets (performance, comfort),

and the only thing that i know about the pathos pockets that they are really

light but and that good, but i will have too glue them too the blade

,what if
something happen too the blade/pocket ? is there other ways ?
and the h dessault are easier to install/remove from the blade, so i am

really confused
:D

it will really help too share some of yours experiment :)

I use H Dessault footpockets and really like them. They fit my (11.5xEE US) feet well and are medium flexability. With medium fiberglass blades they are very much in the middle on flexability, allowing long surface swims as well as good power on dives.
I've never had a chance to look at a pathos footpocket, so can't comment.

I too am considering the H.Dessault and Pathos foot pockets.

My main concern is that my feet are quite wide at the ball of foot, but narrow near the heel and a normal arch.

I'd prefer the pathos, as I've only heard great things... But worthless if they don't fit your foot shape. Trying on in Toronto / Canada is next to impossible... :(

Anyone tried the Pathos with wide feet?

Hi. I use the Pathos footpockets but find they are far too wide for me at the ball of the foot. I would think they would suit someone with wide feet just fine.
Regards Kevin

What about "Omer Stingray" footpockets, these are one of the best :)

I have those. I have a wide foot and find that they fit me very well. I used to have Omer Millenium; the Stingray is a stiffer rubber than the Millenium, and I think it would be uncomfortable to wear without socks (I wear 2mm socks). I have never tried Pathos, but Cressi's were too narrow for my foot.

I would say in order of widest
Omer, picasso, sporasub, pathos, beuchat, cressi
No science behind it just experience of trying them all! Admittedly they may have changed the foot pockets since I last tried each of them!

Pathos also not suitable for me to big..

I had the same problem with all my foot pockets... I've purchased some ankle straps for 5 or 10 euros and now my whole feet is fixed and doesn't warble about in the foot pocket... since my feet are fixed I can do better techniques dives and have all my power from my legs transferred in the fins and not turning into warble... best money I've ever spent
