Here is a nice pic taken yesterday of a big conger with its army of scrap collector

Funnily enough we did not see the shrimp until we got home and viewed the pic on the PC

Turned out nicely ;)

very nice! love the shrimps - pity you couldnt catch a couple.

Well, if you can push your hand close to shrimps you can get them probably! but they are blooddy well protected! and not even one by 2 pitbulls!

I'll be the Philistine:

Did you think about spearing the congor or are they more trouble than they are worth?

Nice picture, wonder if it would be possible to bring out the fishhead more with Photoshop or similar?

(I'd keep my hand well away from those shrimp -- maybe that's his bait:D).

Yes mate

We did spear him a few days later.

You just need to have an expendable spear and someone who knows how to cook and clean it properly.

If not its not worth it.

It was delicious by the way. We cooked it in a Morrocan Tagine (man this brings back memories of Alison :( )

She had some incredible photographs of a huge conger and a diver, did she ever post them?

My bad -- the picture is fine. Much clearer on this computer. My other computer (which should be better -- probably needs to be tweaked up) also did not show the word record dynamic apnea video properly.
