Congratulations to Bill of Deeper Blue, who will finally be added to the AIDA Rankings in static, after having performed a 7:05 static in the Kona Freediving Invitational. Bill holds the US static record, but had never entered an official AIDA competition, so has not been in the AIDA rankings, but now finally his time has come. Its just too bad it didn't happen earlier, because he would have made a strong competitor in the Monaco Static Comp.
