Well, for those of us in more northern climes fall is upon us. This means that I need to find little indoor projects to do to keep myself (semi)sane during the grey, cold, miserable days of winter ahead.
As I need a new freediving suit I was thinking of making my own. I mean, it can't be that hard, right?
Well it probably is :hmm
So in the spirit of exploration and unflagging optimism in place of reality I was hoping that someone here would have some suggestions, tips, and maybe some good ideas.
Does anyone have, or have a link to, a pattern? I was thinking about incorporating some spandex panels for added stretch but am afraid of biting off more than I can chew (well, more than I already have at least).
Does anyone know where I can get a cheap supply of neoprene sheets here in the states. As this is my first go-round, low quality is probably best. It would be embarassing to have tear stains on a mangled piece of Heiwa. If the first goes well then I will probably try it again with something a touch nicer.
Seams.....stitched or glued? Both? What stitch would work best?
As you can see I am still very much in the planning stages. Any help or just general encouragement would be appreciated!
