Ever thought of becoming an instructor...? here are few reasons...

1. great warm locations and beaches to work in
2. fun people to hang out with
3. you get all the chicks
4. and you get to party...

ORRR STOP
Your bringing back to many memories of my days as an Instructor in the North of W.A
Arrr the days of being king of the kids, Endless Shagging,( or shagging my end off) warm water,Cool beer, Drinking Bundy Rum in the Hotel pool, but getting paid very little to do it.
Why did i have to grow up.
Well Islands its good to see you havnt
Im very jealous

Crusty

You like being a diving instructor because you get all the chicks.

Perhaps after you party so hard you can't tell the difference.

Now that's a good thread, What techniques do you use as an instructor to hit on the chicks?

Looks like you are having fun.
Catch ya later

Is anyone esle but me concerned that Sara might have found UAE's most wanted "Unadiver"?

The similarities are quite questionable.

hehehe actually we have just finished and instructor course and all the new instructors are celebrating their success...

but i bet they behave like that everyweekend :)

aaah,

i agree with 1 and 2. never found 3 to be true, but then again i never went out getting pissed but rather went diving the next day without a headache.

no 4 is one of the reasons i quit scuba diving a few years back. not because i hate scuba diving, but i don't want to spend my time with alcoholics who are not really into diving.

maybe you might add:

5. being underwater is just f***ing wicked
6. the amazing marine life
7. teaching is a very rewarding job

but then again each his own.

roland

ps: my apologies if i sound a bit rough, but the cairns/ko tao (read: getting shitfaced and laid)-style diving scene somewhat puts me off. people don't talk about their dives but about the parties.

we met one girl on ko tao this winter who was completely surprised/shocked when my girlfriend asked her what a 'bucket' was.

different scene, i guess...

don't take as their weekly lifestyle...

this is one party just after the I.E. (Instructor Examination...) all these guys just became instructors and were receiving their punishment...

dont pass judgement on just a couple of party photos ;)

these guys work the best diving centre in Dubai... and the one with the top safety record :)

we all know why we are diving... marine life, the ocean, the environment... that's a given. :)

i have heard about cairns/thailand etc... i think every country has its piss head diving instructors.. cayman islands was full of them. so was the recompression chamber... some people may has well have made a weekly reservation.

My "cool reasons" is just humour..

Cheers
Sara
