Counter weight system for boat.

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

Well after buying a boat with my diving buddy, the idea of having som more safety in the picture arose.
This is what we came up with(pictures) the locking mechanisme isnt in place yet but it is coming,

Any input from you guys would be apreciated :)

--Its for getting a diver fast up from the deapth, in case of blackouts or other problems,during constant weight diving.

--Yes I noticed, we used it for the first time yester day, and with the weight of the counter,it became to much of a strain on the corner rings, and made the system really slow..

--But all in all, the line system,and the ability to hang from it during breath ups is really nice, we had a blast.. Ill post some more pictures of it in use,when i have the time.
 
I think that you have to take care with the distance between both ropes, a little current would stock everything and could be worst than nothing, but keep us informed on how it works, looks like an easy and cheap way to do it.
