All:

I went to the beach this morning and while getting my monofin out of the trunk, I saw cracks at the end of my footpocket! :vangry On both sides (under and on top of the blade).

Nevertheless, I just did a lap between the buoys without fin; I never feel so naked before...

Does anyone ever have this problem? I barely use it over a year... Much more often the last 4 - 5 months, twice or thrice a week in the ocean, but I would expect it to last longer than this.

Anyway, I need to shop for replacement, probably not Finis brand. Their size is hard to match, come on, size 8-14... Can the range be larger?

Recommendations? I don't mind shelling out upward to 300 bucks-ish for Europeans ones; with US$ all time low against Euro, price matters too :(

Thanks!

what kind of finis did you have, by the range of pocket size i'm guesing one of the cheaper toy ones, they do make a fin using waterwayblades with a rubber pocket of there own that is actually quite good(about $200usd called competitor, otherwise check out leaderfins.com finswimworld.com or specialfins.com
