I'm not sure how a flasher would work for spearos.

I got this thread "Crazy Chicken Flasher", claiming that when using it, the fish are attracted by certain sounds & movements of the "Flasher" thus the fish can be easily brought up from depths up to 20m.

Anyone used flashers before??.....your comments are welcomed.:thankyou

never used them, but i know that the people who do , mainly use them for blue water hunting to attract pelagic species like tuna, wahoo etc...i think they use also chumming in conjunction with a flasher (where one of the divers would cut up a dead fish in the water to lure the pelagics even more).. ive seen a lot of videos where it seems to work, but as a result of chumming, sharks are normally a by product to the action... it could be worth a try in sokhna though, esoecially in the summer, when the spanish makerel (DRAK) are out and about (without the chumming bit of course). Your next planned trip is also very good grounds to test the flasher...If you email doug (the owner of Austins), he could fedex it to you before your departure, just tell him youre my friend

As Always, you're a great source of info. Marwan....Thanks a lot....wish you were able to make that trip.
