Look at this gun, it's very cool. Go to his website and check out his guns. It's all in Italian, I think. He's got some amazing looking guns. Not all of them are roller guns either.

The lines are exquisite. However, I'd want a hunt report before I ordered one. Might be just the ticket for pinning halibut to the bottom, though.

There's one like that on ebay right now, looks cheesy to me. Doesn't look reliable at all. At the website I posted above, he's got more of those "pistols" in different shapes.

Hey Sarge, didn't you get a hybrid gun from Sveros at poseidonsub.com? I've looking at them and I just fell in love. He's got a lifetime warranty on his guns, as Daryl does on his. Anyway, how did you like it?

Are you talking about Sea Bear spearguns on Ebay? If so, they are cheesy, at least I don't know anyone using them in Russia, as for Vlanik - they are good guns and many people use them and are very happy with quality and performance :)

Interesting. Can anyone post some links for custom hybrid spearguns? I will buy one some day and I like to check out different guns. When I do buy one, I'd like to give independent gun makers a fighting chance, before I start looking at Wongs. I know he's independent, but he's got enough customers to last him a life time, I'm sure.

Thanks

Oh yeah, when you get to that site I posted above, click on "le mie" to see the list of guns. I don't have a clue what it means but I just kept clicking until I found the guns.:)

Nevermind Sarge, I just found that thread about your new gun. I'm in love with that gun.:inlove I will have my own one day.:)

Cheers

Here's a neat concept from the same guy.

Thats Persiko, he posts on here from time to time.
His hybrid Carbon/wood guns are some of he nicest I have seen.

Huan, how do you read his website? I've seen on another site for speargun builders that he had an english version, but I can't find a button for it on his site. I would like to know about costs and stuff.

I used to translate some stuff for Persiko. I made translations of the first few pages of the website, but then we lost contact and I see now that he has removed the english version from the website. It's pitty because this is the best site for people who want to build wooden spearguns. I personally used many of Persiko's ideas in my projects. However I don't think he sells any of his guns. It's more of a hobby to him.
For an aproximate translation you can use some online translator like this
