Hey guys,

I have a quick question. I have a squeaking noise in my ears (almost like a wood screw being screwed in) when I swallow. There's no pain or discomfort and I'm pretty sure I can hear fine.

Is this normal?
Anyone else have it?
How long till it goes away? or How can I make it go away?

I get it only when I ascend, like a squeak.

I assume its a release of pressure but Im not basing that on anything

The squeaking is gone now. (About a day after the dive)

It apparantly mainly happened when I was laying down with my head angled. (i.e. laying down with a laptop) When I was up and about I didn't hear the squeaking. All is better now though. We'll see if I get the same thing next time.

not sure what it is but i also got a similar affliction if i blew my nose or chewed food i could hear a squeaking sound like a screw i think it has something to do with left over water in ur ear
