I was thinking about buying the Cressi Apnea 5mm, everything looks good so far but I was wondering how easy it is to get on and off. It will be my first freediving suit and I am not sure relatively how easy it is to get on compared with others?

A freediving suit is not hard to put on if you understand how and take the time to use lube/conditioner it will slide right on and off.

Pretty much any freediving suit should require the same ease of donning and doffing of you follow the right steps. Some neoprene materials might be more forgiving and others more fragile but the steps are the same - more carefulness just might need to be taken when taking the suit on and off.

Hi,

I have this suit and am more than happy with it. Admittedly I have nothing to compare it with as is the first and only wetsuit I've ever been in - but have been using it for speafishing over the last year and have no reason to change or upgrade at the mo.
As Willunderwater said - as long as you lube / grease it properly (sorry, can't think of more appealing words at the mo!) you shouldn't have any problems - I certainly don't.
Have found the 5mm keeps me comfortable whether its summer or winter.
Hope this helps and you enjoy your new suit.
Cheers.
