Hi, can anyone who has the cressi cammouskin suit tell what the think of it? I am considering buying one in 7mm but would like to know how elastic the neoprene is on the 7mm & how warm it is.I know it wont be as warm as open cell inner but how much difference is there in warmth? Also how essential are the pants with the aquastop.I am considering having the trousers in 7mm & would sometimes like to wear the jacket with normal pants(5mm cell inner nylon outer, which I have already, which are not Cressi & dont have the aqua stop.
Because the cammouskin has ultraspan inside I guess cressi have combined it with the aquastop trousers to minimise the capillary action of cold water wicking in & I would like to hear from people who have tried the jacket with non aquastop trousers.
thanks
Jon

DO NOT BUY THAT SUIT!!

i had one and all the seams come apart and it wasnt just me who had this problem mine has been sent back to cressi.cant beat the mtm elios suits and there the same price as the cressi i would go for one of them especially if your in cold water you need as little water as possible coming into your suit and a fair bit came in with my cressi

I always say get an elios MTM, i really never understand why someone would buy a suit which is more expensive but no where near the same quality as an elios. These off the peg cressi suits are near enough the same price, i have seen them over 230 pounds in a local shop which is just CRAZY!

Thanks for the imput.I had found the suit on a special at www.scubazar.com.i liked the cammo & the wear patches on knees & elbows.i had also thought that the ultraspan lining would reduce chances of tearing.Anyway I bought a nearly newElios smoothskin heiwa med density 7mm cammo suit.I shall have to send it to Elios for an alteration around the neck.I wore it on sat diving but felt like I was being strangled. It will be a simple matter to put in an extra section & am considering doing it myself as I still have some neoprene from the same type ofsuit I had had previously.they are good suits but can be a bit fragile when putting on or taking off.(one I have bought already has a repair)Still it was a goodprice so i will just have to use plenty soapy water for taking it off as well as putting it on.
I would still be interested in what anyone else has to say about the cressi cammouskin.I could only find one review on it on the web in french.

Another one saying
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Bought it for 200 thinking it was a nice suit but the day ater I tried it on (hadnt even been in the sea yet) there was seam seperation. Contacted shop who got me to send it to Cressi.
They would not replace it!

I'e glued most of the seams myself an regularly have to superglue around the loading pad as it keeps tearing!

Bah!!!

Ordering an elios this month :)
