Hello :) I just bought Cressi-sub comanche 90 cm. It's came with a mulitfilament cord. I have read the manual but It's lack of detail. I have read the dummies guide and other thread also.
It is said that I could rig the gun using the cord only. It is OK to rig the gun just using the cord without bungee? It wont break? If the fish cannot be released from the shaft , what I have to do? I use mono and bungee in my previous speargun so I could just unclip the line from the bungee and slip the fish through the mono. Thank you

yep it will work fine. dont cut the cord... wrap it around the hole in muzzle. the cord will wear at the spear so i trim a few inches there every few weeks.... before i moved to mono ;)

Thank you Bobdonny for your reply. Is it better if I use bungee cord compared not using one? From your expirience using this gun do you thing should I go for mono and using the cord for making bungee only? I’m planning to use It around reef with good vis and targeting medium size fish(below 5 kg).

You need to use mono line & a stretchy bungee for best results, it make loading much easier & helps to land fish.
