Anyone have any thoughts on this suit?

Had one? Liked it?

Wondering is this BlackLite lining or is it that shinny smooth metal stuff or is it straight open cell? The descriptions vary a bit.

I had both types (with and without, I've acually also have nylon II suits), suits with metalite are easier to put, however they are not as warm, I've also found out that using my thermic suit in warm waters irritates my skin. Today my preference is to get an open cell suit without metalite.

I´m diving this suit. And I´m quite happy with it. The suit fits me (1,86 m, 73 kg) very well. I put it on under the shower or in the water. It also works very well if the suit is wet. All dry is a bit tricky, but it works also. So you need no lubricant.
I´ve used the suit in the red sea at temps of around 28° C. And I also used it in the eastern sea here in germany. The temperature had been around 14° C.
In the red sea it was sometimes a bit warm. I opened the suit and let a bit of water in, and everything was fine. In the eastern sea it became a bit cold after two hours in the water.

The lining is blacklite.

I had a cressi 5mm competition with the silver metalite lining. Best suit I ever had. Tough as old boots and easy to put on with no lube. Lasted 5 years with heavy use. Very elastic neoprene. That was 7 or 8 years ago so can't say about later models. Certainly much better than my present 5mm cammo immersion which is a piece of cra*p.

How about a MTM diveskin. That's what I'm looking at. The cressi's are no longer cheap.

Thanks for the tip Dave, I'm stuck between the comp 2 and the cressi apnea.
I'm gonna go with cressi, its just the easiest to get for me.

i understand that this lining helps u put on the the suit, but are the cressi suits open cell neoprene beneath this lining or are they closed cell???
