Hey, everyone. I wanna buy my first wetsuit. I will use it for both spearfishing and scubadiving so I guess it's very important that it is highly durable. I have to choose between cressi competition and cressi tecnica, which are available in the local diving centre. It would be very kind if someone who has experience with these models gives me advice on this topic.

Is the comp the same as the supercomp of old?*. I have had both. The technica seems more suple/stretchy but might just be my imagination. Of the two on first impressions I would say the supercomp was actually harder wearing.

*Ignore if not the same thing :D

I think the supercomp is the predecessor to the competition 2 and the tecnica. What do you mean by saying that the supercomp is harder wearing?

It has just taken a right battering is all. Its 10yrs still going. Its got plenty of repairs but still ok. My technica seems to have picked up more damage quicker?? not sure you could gauge it in any way. Just a feeling.

yeah the supercomp definitely must be more durable and resistant and maybe so does the competition 2, which is extremely important for me :)
