Hi
Has anyone any experience using the Cressi Fisterra 8mm for Freediving/Spearfishing? It's sometimes marketed for Diving, sometimes Spearfishing. The thing for me is I will also use the suit quite a bit for scuba diving so I'm not sure on paying good money for a specific spearfishing suit which will get messed up from scuba wear and tear. I dive most of the time in Ireland and have a Drysuit of course, but to be honest it's a pain in the a@$ to use it year round. Any advise appreciated.

Well I got no reply from anyone  but if it's any help I went ahead and bought the suit and all I can say is so far is its unbelievable! Its incredibly warm and comfortable. I've taught several open water courses in it all ready, full course in the sea with all the time stationary that involves, with a maximum depth of 18m for 45 mins and never felt a chill. I haven't used it much for freediving yet but I carry 6kg of weight when scuba diving and around 7-8kg for spearfishing so not overly buoyant either considering the thickness of the suit. Highly recommended.
