Does anyone try to put successfully carbon blades to Ctessi Gara Modular Fins? I have in mind Non Cressi's carbon blades like C4 or similar. Maby someone have photo of upgraded footpockets, and can share his expierirnce?

I've had a pair of the modular fins, and the footpockets have cracked with normal use in four points on the side of them. I wouldn't now recommend them.

I have them 1 year and used during this seasone and they are ok, nothing cracking. They strong and fast. After few dives I lubricate all ruber parts and tendons with silicone grease. In home keeping them covered in dry dark place.

APNEABOY from what perriod of time yours footpockets cracked?

Is there any fiber or carbon blade which can be hook up with Cressi Gara Modular footpocket? They do not have 22 degree angle

Probably 18 months... i don't lube them, but they are stored safely, and i've seen other fins with similar damage. I used to recomend them, but I don't think they are durable enough for a couple of seasons.

As the window licker above said, he owned them for a bit, and he normally looks after his kit.

I scared right now becouse I have one pair. Hope that they not share the same fate.
So basicly I should look for another pair of other brand new fins for back up if somthing like this happend.
Which are the best footpockets Omer Stingray or Pathos? I have in mind upgrading to carbon in not far future with leaderfins or with good luck C4's
But it will take time becouse I'm on the budget.

I like the Pathos footpockets, I get them from www.fins4u.co.uk

All the other Cressi stuff I have is in good condition for years, just those footpockets I don't believe are up to the job.
