cressi lince vs oceanic shadow

hey guys,

thought about getting a mask for a while and it has come down to these two.
i have a slightly narrower face then usual and a smaller nose than average.

i do mostly spearfishing and underwater photography, a bit of freediving as well down to around 20m.

i have never used a mask with only one piece of glass b4. i know its got great sideways vision but at the same time the volume is greater than the lince which has limited vision (exact for downwards) but really low volume.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have the Lince and its field of vision is comparable to the Omer Alien, though the Lince is a bit better in the vertical plane. The Lince seems to have a higher internal volume - not as close to the face. It is definitely a good fit for someone with a narrow face.

My only criticism of the Lince is that the silicone is stiffer (and thicker) than other masks. This makes pinching the nose pocket for equalization a bit tougher. This is really noticeable if you are wearing neoprene gloves.

Sorry, I have not tried the Shadow.

One of my dive buddies uses the Lince and, while he likes the mask in general (doesn't rave about it) he dislikes the mask strap. The strap is narrower than many other masks, and the points where the strap buckles attach to the mask is also somewhat less substantial than other masks.

I have been using the Bigeye mask for a couple years, and really like the peripheral vision (it's also a strong point of mine). The strap is wider than the Lince and the attachments are more solid.

Sorry, I have not familiarity with the Shadow.
