i've read some of the old (last year or earlier) postings about the cressi lince mask. does anyone have any recent insight re: this model? i was talked into buying one by the sales guy but have no diving experience, so i'm wondering what i bought. also, what is the difference between the lince and the lince 2? are there any other masks i should consider? i'm a beginner and have a relatively small face. thanks.

Not sure what you got - all I can find on the net look like the same mask - the lince2. Anyway - the link is to a discussion about this and other masks on this site

I tested my Lince today finally in the water. Awesome mask! Great vis and not a single leak w/ snorkel. I have a wide face and it sealed tight and dry. I love it. It is the best mask I've owned in a while. Great low volume. Only tested it in 20 ft. of water but zero mask squeeze, compensated w/o thinking. Super. All the "2" in "Lince 2" refers to is the fact that it is a TWO lens mask. It is the Lince. Great mask. Very happy.

thanks for the response...now i'm really excited to try it out tomorrow. is there a signficant difference between a one-lense mask and a two-lense mask?
