Hi, I want to buy a pear of short fin for snorkeling and shallow water (10-15 m). I'm looking for Cressi Reaction Pro or Cressi Pro Star models. I understand that Pro Star is lighter and stiffer then Reaction Pro, but I read that is not so durable.
Do you have any experience with both of them? Which one is better?

Thank you!

Pro Star without doubts.
I used them for many years in finswim competitions and nobody uses Reaction Pro as too heavy and slow.
Don't worry about the durability.

What about the Pluma? what is teh size difference? I am looking at something powerful enough for traveling that would fit in a 30" bag.

Last year I bought a pair of Pro Start and on the second snorkeling trip, I felt something strange as if fins had broken. After the dive, I checked the fins and I found that it bends in an inappropriate place: on the foot pocket where the two ribs are finished, just above the Cressi-sub logo (on the back of the fin).

Could it be a bad lot, I don't know. My wife has the same model (12 years old), but without this problem (thru the two ribs are different in design and the color is black)

Now I want to buy another pair of fins. I don't have the possibilities to check it in a scuba shop, so I ask you for help.
What model to buy: Cressi Free Frog or Reaction Pro or Pro Start (again, assuming I was unlucky)?
Or do you recommend another brand? What model?

THank you
