very nice!!!!!! thanks for that.. wow that's amazing i wonder if he dragged the bull in from the ocean or if the bull was stranded in the estuary?

..those Bulls (or Zambezi's to us Saffa's) hang around feeding in estuaries so I reckon he caught the cheeky little pup moving in on his turf...or mud as the case may be...rofl

Its good to see raw nature at work..and this is obviously not often in the limelight.

cha cheers

:ko What do you think the outcome would be against a Great White his own size in open water? :ko

Maybe we could get Sea World to capture a large specimen of each and. put them in the tank together. Winner takes on Free Willy.

shame on you! rofl

a new approach to cock-fighting..

...that's a million dollar question! I've been thinking about it for half an hour and I can't come to any confident conclusion!

That bull was in disadvantage I think, those muddy water probably restrict it's oxygen absorbing capabilities.

Been pondering for years with the idea of offering some TV netwrok a satlwater crock V GWS match. Not sure how it goes moral-wise though.
Maybe if they could find a convicted man killing GWS and a convicted man killing salt water croc.... :)

...maybe the Cape boys can provide one GW with a float buoy hanging off it?

Some time ago they had this show called "Animal Faceoff" or something of that sort and they had a Nile crocodile vs a Great White. Of course they didnt actually put the animals to fight but it was a simulation and the Great White won that one. It was in deeper clearer water.

I think I saw the pilot of that show, they had Nicolas Cage Vs John Travolta.
The Nile croc Vs GWS sounds more interesting though.

Here is an aussie forum with the same pics of the croc and shark. Might want to check it out.

Also I have a pic in a book where a small croc comes out second best. I will try to find it and put the pic up later on.

Catchya, Lachlan

This one could be a formidable match for either.....

The Croc-a-Shark. Found in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. The Croc-a-Shark is distinguished from the gator trout and gator bass by its greater aggressiveness, and narrower snout. Croc-a-sharks have short fins and powerful jaws. The saltwater croc-a-shark around the Great Barrier Reef in Australia are often 14 ft long, while the Nile and American, croc-a-sharks are commonly 12 ft in length. Native to the Everglades and Florida Keys, the American croc-a-shark is an endangered species and prized game fish. Croc-a-sharks feed on small fish but have been known to attack humans when provoked or cornered .
