Vodka fans ... this one is for you! It's an old Kenyan cocktail from a fab restaurant at the coast called the Tamarind and it's a perfect sundowner ...
makes 6 drinks
6 measures vodka
6 measures cointreau
250ml fresh passion fruit juice
3 measures fresh lime juice
1 measure sugar syrup (although honey might work but I usually prefer mine without any added sweetness)
ice, ice baby
3 slices fresh orange in halves and 6 strawberries threaded onto sticks to decorate for that special effect
1 lime and some sugar to coat the rim of your glass
Mix all the ingredients in a jug. Strain into sugar rimmed cocktail glasses and add fruity sticks.
Turn up the rock and feel the bite :friday
