dotey and I went to Crystal Lake up in Marquette Co. It was alot of fun- For me. The vis wasn't the best -about 10' and the water temp was 59 degrees. The crappies and bass were in on the beds and there were Bluegills around- but they weren't bedded up yet. Saw Lots of Northerns. Ended up shooting 4 Carp, 1 Sucker, 3 Crappies and 1 Bluegill. I shot the Bluegill through the eyes. And shot one of the crappies and a sucker at the same time. I found the BIG carp at the end of our day. They were underneath piles of timber. They were Freakin Huge! The biggest one I shot was 41lbs and 36" long. There was one that was alot longer- but i couldn't keep up with her.

I think the vis would of been better- but we had east winds. It will be great this next week also. dotey ended up shooting 3 crappie.

I cut up my panfish and we had them with our dinner- It was really good! We are heading to Lake Waubesa and if we limit out on Panfish- then we will head to Monona to clean up some Carp.

yeah the fish was good went real well with my hamburgers i made and i dont know why i put on your kids hat i guess i was bored LOL i guess i am ready to make some good shots today unlike yesterday all well i tried

Fish look great! Shorelunch? Or perhaps you're own secret recipe (that should never remain secret)? I've been into broilin' em lately - trying to do things healthier. Still tasty, but you have to cook 2x as many to fill you up.

yes shorelunch- my fav. i'll have to give broil a try. My kids LOVE the crappies! Have enough in the freezer for 2 more meals for the whole fam. I don't think it will last long.

i have tried broil fish didnt really like it but i have to get more fish here soon as i am out my wife and 1 year old love fish as i didnt know this so at least if i run out of food i can always catch my food LOL

Got to love the shore lunch. I usually buy the cajun, and then add ground pepper, garlic powder, and some ground hot pepper. Gives it a little more zing. Im thinking about hitting this place up saturday. Is that okay whopperhead? Me and a friend want to try something new, and carp would be a welcome surprise. Any tips ect?

Went to Crystal today with dotey. Water Temp was 68 degrees. The Bluegills were starting their spawn. (I didn't shoot any Bluegills-don't worry) I did end up taking 6 nice Crappies and 3 Suckers- I had 4 but one came off my stringer and dotey shot it. Vis was about 15' would of been nice to stay out longer- Still had alot of fun.

PICS: 1st-my stringer, a Great Gun and the best fins made. 2nd- The shipwreck of Crystal Lake, 3rd- dotey surfacing, 4th- dotey trying to take off his fins, 5th- dotey and catch.

why you say that
From a little movie you may have heard of???

"In 1957, A young boy named Jason Voorhees drowned. In 1958, two camp counselors were murdered. In 1962, fires and bad water thwarted the reopening of Camp Crystal Lake. Now in 1979, Crystal Lake was finally reopened by Steve Christy with the help of a few new counselors. Ignoring the warnings from a local wacko, the murders start once again while a mysterious stalker prowls the area. Is it Revenge that the killer is looking for? Who will survive the nightmare and live to tell the story?" Written by josec_2001
Plot summary

The thread is about Crystal Lake. The movie Friday the 13th, a guy named Jason ran around with a big knife killing people at Camp Crystal Lake. Slingshaft posted a picture referencing the movie.

In short, slingshaft made a joke.
