Really I was surprised, that after loading my Cyrano for the first time and returning the shaft in the unloaded state, one needs quite many power to remove the shaft from the gun. It takes a partl of energy of the shaft, and the piston and the shock absorber are additionally destroying. I calculated that the energy lost is about 5 J. It is not too match if you take into consideration that the energy of the shaft is more than 30 times larger. Yesterday I hope, I simply solved the problem of difficult disengaging the shaft from the piston. It concerns the Cyrano pneumatic speargun. In the taper boring in the piston which accepts the taper part of shaft, I have put one plastic stopper in length 10 mm and fixate it with small piece of plastic stick. Maybe this would somebody help.

Yes , it helped me . It took quite some force to pull the spear from the piston so , as you suggested , I plugged the piston .
Now it's easier to pull out , but still hangs in there when upside down .
Regards ,
Dave .
