There will be AIDA competition on May 20, 2006 in Brno, Czech Republic.
Unfortunately, the websites of both Czech AIDA and Ocean Devils club in Brno (organizing the event) are not very informative, and rarely updated. There is no information or registration form in English on these websites yet.
It is a pity the websites of Czech AIDA and the one of the organizers are not better maintained. The event could be attractive for many freedivers in Central Europe. It is a shame for the home country of one of the world best freedivers (Martin Stepanek) not to have a well promoted national championship.
You won't find any photos from the past competitions on these websites, but fortunately there is a Slovak website freediving.sk that has a load of photos and videos (some nice videos of sambas and BO's there) from the Czech AIDA championship in 2005 (section labelled "23.04.2005 - Majstrovstvá Českej republiky").
If anyone participated on the past competitions in Brno, I'd love to hear some comments about the organization.
Well, I did not really do a good advertisement for the event, but hope that more info becomes soon available on the websites of AIDA CR or OceanDevils.
