For those who practice statics daily, what strategies do you employ to keep from over doing it? My tendency is to either push for my PB every day or skip static training as pointless. Is there a payoff for doing say a 70%-80% static daily and going for PB once a week?

Hey Michael

Go to www.freediver.co.uk and download the static tables they are alot of help.
Its not only a question of a single long static but as a spearo I need to pull off shorter apneas but in quick succession. So practicing relatively medium statics with short recovery time gives me that consistency.
There are alot of elite apneists to answer your questions here however im not one of them. As is often said...

Just my 2 cents
