Total noob here, so forgive me. I wanted to do some breath holds, dry, laying down to test out my max/train for a longer breath hold. I figure if you hold your breath long enough in water, swb can/will occur. I assume the same will happen when doing the exact same thing on dry land. My question is, if I hold my breath so long that I pass out (once again, dry), will I spontaneously begin breathing again? I don't need a spotter when doing dry runs, do I? I figure holding my breath until I pass out might be a good learning experience, I just don't want to die.
