What happened to the article titled "Bush declares War on Dolphins and Whales"

Good article, and a catchy, accurate title in my opinion..

Was it pulled for a reason, or by request?

It is a surprise to me - It appears that it was pulled without my being notified.

---No kiddin? So who has veto rights above yours? And why would the article be pulled w/out notifying you?

There was a typo in my response and I have since corrected it "WITH" should be "WITHOUT" my being notified.

Sorry Cliff, that's about as clear as mud!

I am still shocked over this - What I meant to say is: "It appears that it was pulled without my being notified"

As a side note - the title has been changed to"Sea Shepherd announces US Navy approval for damaging military sonar" instead of the original teaser and all content of the story has been replaced with a blurb of where to find the original news item on the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society's website

The article, as Cliff has stated, has not been pulled, just the title changed and the text replaced with a link to where you can find the full text.

It is editorial policy that we do not publish news items or releases verbatum, in this instance both Malcolm James (Managing Editor) and myself (Publisher) made the decision to make the relevant changes. I had sent an email notifying Cliff we were making the change, however I forgot to mention we were changing the title as well, hence the confusion!

Sorry for the confusion folks!

ahhh...

I was afraid that Db had been leaned on by some Gov department or something..:D

A 'round of Karma for Shadow....

:naughty

--- Nice to know Shadowkiller is watching! ---

Just kidding, gentlemen ;) Thanks for clarifying

I say a round of Karma to Shadow for being on top of things here!
