Has anyone here had experience with de soto wetsuits? They are triathlon wetsuits, so I'm not sure if it would work for freediving, but would a cheap used one work for a beginner who is just trying to get started?

I think you can find a cheaper suit at swiminn thru deeper blue for warm water or pool training. I recommend Scubastore good price fast shipment from spain 3 days if your diving in water that is less than 72 degrees. Lots will chime in and tell you to buy a custum suit which is not needed unless your real thin real heavy or have a odd build. I have dove in water just above freezing in a off the rack suit for several hours with no problem. Good luck I have a Beuchat 7mm open cell i like alot and a 5 mm Immersion which warm and a 1.5 for freediving which is flimsy and needs regular repair.
