Eh, yes...
lots of stores have January sales.
But your question is extremely open ended. You don’t say where you live - which makes a difference in terms of potential custom fees and shipping. Nor do you mention what kind of gear you are after. Which, even if you did, would likely lead to a lot of confusion as people tend to give advice based on what they bought and not necessary what’s best for you.
